Upon Chris’s suggestion, I started using Delicious to manage my links. For awhile I Tumbl’d, and I’m still an avid starrer/sharer on Google Reader to bookmark the things I wanted to come back to, but this allows me to tag and sort a little better. So here’s some of my favorite lately.
Creative Melbourne souvenirs that don’t involve koala, boomerangs or Vegemite sandwiches.
Crocheted taxidermy by Elaine Bradford.
Five great online sample sales, four of which I’d never heard of. Nice work, Jennine.
It might be Shark Week everywhere else, but it’s Panda Week at the San Diego Zoo. One word: PandaCam. Say it with me: d’awwwwwww.
Apparently nonprofits are quicker to adopt social media marketing than universities or businesses.
Now a question for you guys: Do you like it when I do link posts? I used to kind of throw them up when I didn’t have time to write full-on posts, so a lot of times I used it as an excuse for not actually writing anything. Thoughts? Accusations? Things you’d have to whisper if there were grown-ups around? Tell me how you feel, guys.

so, i have no flippin’ idea why i did, but i jointed Gilt one day and have never bought anything on there. one: most of that stuff would never fit me in a million years, and two: it’s still way too expensive for my wallet!

You know, it really is. I go on there all the time to look at clothesporn, but half of it is way too expensive, and I just can’t justify that when a) my bigger priority is getting out of debt and b) there is so much adorable unwanted stuff at Goodwill/SA/thrift.
And let’s be honest, a lot of the stuff there doesn’t look good on *anyone* above the age of seventeen and above the weight of 98 lb. They really need to step up their size inclusion.

I love link posts! One of the things I love about the internet is the flow of info and link posts help that flow:)
