It was two dollars on the clearance rack. It’s always been an awkward length—too long to wear as a top, but too short to wear as a dress without flashing my ladybits at everyone. So I extended the hem by adding solid white satin to the bottom. I love how it turned out. The satin I used, incidentally, is the leftovers from having shortened my New Year’s Eve dress!
