Ten blogs you should subscribe to right now

Looking for some extra reading? Here you go. You’re welcome!

  • Problogger. Anyone who wants to blog for profit should read every little bit that’s written there. Darren Rouse, the editor, has been a blogger since 2002, and has written for over 20 blogs. He’s definitely a role model.
  • Zen Habits. Productivity, finance, and making yourself happy. One of the most popular blogs of its kind on the web.
  • WIse Bread. Personal finance, frugality, and lifehacks from real people.
  • I Will Teach You To Be Rich. Ramit, the blog’s author, takes no shit. He will point out quite frankly all the bad financial habits you have and tell you how to shake them.
  • Lifehacker. This is the Gawker-owned blog for technology, productivity, and getting stuff done.
  • Jezebel. The Gawker ladyblog. This is the first thing I read every day on my RSS reader. It’s like reading a glossy lady magazine, but without any of the bullshit. My favorite features are Pot Psychology, in which Tracie and Rich get high and give advice (which by my estimate is correct and helpful 97% of the time).
  • Unclutterer. Stop hoarding things. Make a place for everything, and put everything in its place. Well-written and totally informative. The blog’s editor-in-chief, Erin Doland, is also a contributor to , which is also one of my faves.
  • SwissMiss. A New York City designer blogs about cool stuff.
  • Seth Godin’s personal blog. Seth is a genius with marketing and communications.
  • Meticulous, precocious, capricious, and tenacious, Amanda Lee blogs several times daily about fashion, personal productivity, New York City, and creative stuff. (Come on, you know I couldn’t write a list like this without asking you to subscribe. So do it already!)
